Viewing distance and eve level are extremely important when considering setting up a piece. Or when studying a still life. It’s going to effect how the light is perceived, how much distance something appears to have between it and a related object, and how much detail will be perceivable from that angle or distance.
Here are 3 views of the same setup. I think my perspective got a little wonky on that last part, but it’s OK, I’m still working on it.
